The Challenge
Young people across Zimbabwe have skills that employers never get to see, and opportunities are spread across many places:
- Unproven skills: Without trusted evidence, employers struggle to judge what an applicant can actually do.
- Scattered opportunities: Jobs, apprenticeships and short courses are hard to find in one place.
- Sensitive information: Personal details such as gender and disability need strong protection.
Our Solution
Youth Pathways gives every young person a Skills Passport backed by assessments and training badges, and lets employers and training providers work with them in one place.
Security is designed in: every table uses Row Level Security, assessment answer keys are hidden from the API and scored inside the database, sensitive answers are visible only to their owner, and CVs open through short-lived signed links. 71 automated checks test these rules.
