AfriGenius STEM Academy
A website and learning portal for hands-on STEM.
The public website and learning portal for AfriGenius, a hands-on STEM academy in Zimbabwe, with a separate workspace for students, facilitators, school leads and admins.

The Challenge
AfriGenius runs coding, robotics, AI and electronics programmes with schools, cohorts and competitions. Managing it all by hand was slowing them down:
- Enrolments and rosters: Applications, cohorts and attendance were tracked across messages and spreadsheets.
- Visibility for schools: Partner schools needed to see their learners’ progress without asking for reports.
- Trusted certificates: Employers and universities needed a way to check that a certificate is genuine.
Our Solution
We built a public website that presents programmes, schools, competitions and the innovation hub, together with a portal where every account type gets its own workspace.
There is no separate server: security rules and business logic live in the database with Row Level Security, so each person only sees what they are allowed to. A demo mode runs the full backend in the browser with sample data so new users can try the portal safely.
